Day 124: Crashing

Day 124.  I decided to skip the green tea today.  Now I can’t keep my eyes open.  Is it wrong to go to sleep at 6pm?  I just finished scene 33’s script and interview string out but that’s all I’ve managed to do all day so far.  Technically, I’m still on schedule but compared to yesterday, where I finished scene 31, 32 and the reality string out for 33, today is pathetically limping along.  I can’t snap out of this sluggish state!  I think I’m crashing.  To even get me to fire up the Avid, Uh-mazing Romantic Partner had to bribe me with a Double Double, fries and a chocolate shake.  Yes.  Sugar and gluten filled but totally glorious and the only reason scene 33’s bin is ready for Dan the Amazing Editor man.  Best fast food burger in the world.  Granted, I had to eat it with a knife and fork and cut it up in itty-bitty pieces so I could chew it without biting into it, but it was still pure deliciousness.  Of course you might assume I’m crashing from the In-n-Out but I was a zombie before it arrived.  So, my body needs a little break.  Fine.  I can do that.   I’ll do that right now by googling “caffeine and acne.”

Apparently, there’s no real scientific link that caffeine directly causes acne, but, according to the Livestrong article, “Can Caffeine Cause Acne?” “Eastbay Acne & Skin Care Clinic reports that stress and sleep deprivation, both of which are triggered by excessive caffeine intake, may promote acne.”  Sleep deprivation.  Copy that.

Until tomorrow, create from what you have…breaks to Google.
