Day 230: A New Columnist…I hope!

Day 230.  I had what was supposed to be a 30-minute face to face with Dear Friend after back-to-back dentist appointments yesterday morning—one with the oral surgeon, the other with my regular dentist—that turned into an entire afternoon.  Oh how I LOVE unexpected, stolen rendezvous!  There was catching up, kvetching, and laughing.  It was needed.  It was perfect.  Close to the end, Dear Friend talked to me about her latest writing project.  I flipped over it.  “This is perfect to be a new column,” I gleefully pitched.  Dear Friend is an amazing writer and I’m not going to lie, I’ve done more than hint that I want her to write an article or a column or something for the site.  This could be just the right match!  I’m not going to out her yet because she’s not ready and she’d kill me.  But I can’t wait.  Hopefully, after a few more rendezvous, I’ll be able to announce a new column!
