Day 249: Almost Spaced

Day 249.

Wow.  This is the second time I almost spaced doing my daily report!  (The first time was on Day 42!)  I was about to go crawl into bed.  Whew!  Close call!

I had a full day of invite and program creating for the Declare Your Dream Experimental Motivation Project Discussion and Workshop.  I’m coordinating schedules, and planning that evening.  I’ve never done anything like it before and I think it’s going to be so much fun!

Anyhoo, that’s all I’ve got to report.  Other than I’m bummed both Andy Roddick and Roger Federer lost today in the US Open.  Wait, OMG, I’m also freaking out that from 9am this morning (when I had exactly 2660 followers) until I signed back in tonight around 7pm, I suddenly have 12,046 followers on Twitter.  UGH!  This is not a good thing.  There’s no way I got suddenly 9,000 new followers type popular!  I’m sure this is some weird bot, spam thing.  No idea how to get rid of them!

Something’s not quite right!

I looked for a place to contact Twitter.  All I could find was a mailing address!  Not even an email or contact form or anything.  They so don’t want you contacting them.  I think my romance with Twitter has just taken a really bad turn.  I changed my password and made my tweets private.  Which in hindsight I should have done from the get go because that’s the only way you get to approve your followers.  I only want real people that are interested in me, my vision and my company and who I am interested in!  If I wanted thousands of fake followers I could have bought them for like 5 bucks.  I’ll say it again, UGH.  Oh god.  I hope no one thinks I bought followers!  That is fraud to me.  A total misrepresentation.  I would never do it.  NEVER.  I really hope I wake up tomorrow morning and my account is back to normal with my nice, wonderfully creative, inspiring and motivating 2,660 followers that I love!  Any of you Twitter experts reading this, please advise.

Until tomorrow, create from what you have…close calls.
