Day 261: Back to the edit, I go.

Day 261.  Many balls were dropped yesterday.  The sheer volume of what I wanted to do this weekend was simply too much.  I didn’t get everything done on my list.  And the reality is I must let those balls stay on the floor for now because today is all about Meredith.  I’ve cut a lot of scenes with this young woman in them but now, I’m focusing in on cutting an introduction piece that will give the audience a sense of who she is as a person—at her core.  I’ll give you a little hint—she’s awesome!  Which is why I’m very excited to dive back into my editing this morning and cut together a piece that does her justice.  Wish me luck.

Until tomorrow, create from what you have…focus despite dropped balls.
