In The Trenches – The Founder’s Daily Report: Day 276: 90 days left!

Day 276:  In case you were wondering, we have, as of today, exactly 90 days left in the year.  Holy shit!  That does not sound like very much time.   Should I let panic set in?  No, damn it, I say, no!  Who am I kidding?  I’m already panicking.  Upon typing the counter down to 90 days left my eyes bugged out, I jumped up and ran around in circles like a cartoon dog chasing its tail.  I must adopt one of the doc kids’ mantras:  whatev.  Whatev, I say!  My all time favorite acting coach, Julie Ariola, always used to say in class something like, “You are doing your best.  If you could do any better you would.”  Well, I’m going with Julie on this one.  I’m doing my best.  We shall see what the next 90 days bring and what I can accomplish while doing my best.

And then, panic set in!

The first thing on the list is the doc editing.  I began a new editing schedule yesterday.  I haven’t gone so far as to call it a crusade yet but I probably need to.  Brownies were consumed and scene 5 was not finished.  I’m back on three scenes a week.  With that timing, I’ll complete this editing pass by December 21st.  And that’s basically the rest of my year.  Deep sigh.  My plan is to continue to move my other projects and the site forward as best as I can.  And that’s all I can do.
