In The Trenches—The Founder’s Daily Report: Day 338—The train has left the station!

Day 338:

Official pre-production began today!  Woo hoo!  I started the SAG paperwork process, scripts went out, and script breakdown is underway.

Dare I say it?  Film project number one is finally done being developed and is officially beginning to be made into a movie.  I don’t want to jinx it so I’m not going to go into all the details just yet.

Train conductor needs sleep!

I will have lots of other official announcements soon including my incredible co-producer and director, if I can just remember to take some pics with my creative team next time we are together.  What’s an announcement with out a photo to go with it?  You already met Screenwriter Monica back on Day 35.  You met Director Brenda back on Day 64 when she was supposed to direct but then she moved back to New Jersey to work on another big project.  I’m thinking my new director is the one who will go the distance with me.  He’s really awesome and super talented and I can’t wait for you to meet him.

Holy guacamole.  This is fun!  But man, am I exhausted.  And we’ve only just begun!  There’s so much to do.  I’ve got to pace myself.  After our epic script day yesterday and a full day of ramping up into production mode today, I’m delirious.  So, I’m going to watch the season finale of Boardwalk Empire and Homeland on demand tonight and then pass out.  This train conductor needs to shut off her mind and get some rest!
