In The Trenches—The Founder’s Daily Report: Day 345: Whirlwind Day

Day 345:  I woke up at 5:07am and somehow, in the blink of an eye, it’s 9:07pm.  WTF?

An amazing day…for the most part anyway.

I honestly can’t remember what I did from 5 to 7am, but I know I was doing something.  I was working, doing something, for the site and the movie.

Then, at 7am, I had a wonderful session with Ridiculously Generous, Amazingly Talented and Very Successful Actress Friend who has graciously agreed to work my lines with me for my character in the film.  Not only helping me get them down but work on my character and arc and prep for the shoot. It’s a relief knowing she has my back because as I mentioned yesterday, I’ve taken a big bite with this project and I need to ensure that it is masticated properly.

I was then off to an 11am meeting with my director and our new female lead.  They seemed to really get along and connect with each other.  Yay!  I can’t wait to officially announce her.  She’s a real gem and such a talent.  I’m so thrilled to have her on board.

I screwed up majorly with my niece though.  She had emailed me just this past Friday to ask me to post this scholarship essay for her so she could submit a link in the application.  I wrote her back and told her I would do it right away and promptly never looked at it again.  UGH.  So, my sister and my niece tracked me down today in a panic because today was the deadline.  Long story short, I dropped the ball and it turned out you had to have it in before the deadline of December 10th…in other words, yesterday was the actual deadline.  Double UGH.  So she lost out on the opportunity to be considered for a $1000 scholarship because of her shitty Aunt Kelli.  Triple UGH.  So, not feeling so great about myself right now.  I hope I make shit loads of money some day soon and I can give her my own scholarship!

Anyhoo, I’m all over the place right now and what I need to do is get my ass to sleep.  Tomorrow is another big day, one I’m sure that will be full of amazing things and the occasional screw up.

Until tomorrow, create from what you have…an amazing day and a screw up.
