Day 349:
Yesterday was all about hair. In particular, my hair. I hadn’t gotten my hair cut in a substantial way in over two years. It was so long I could easily put my hand behind my back and touch it. It was almost down to my ass, flower child length. It certainly was not lawyerly in any way which is what my character is…a lawyer. So, my co-producer marched me to a hair stylist and oversaw the transformation of my “look.” It was really fun and I love my new cut and color!
This morning, I’m prepping for our first table read with the main players in our cast. I can’t wait! It’s really the first time we’ll be hearing the script out loud and it is the first step in moving us forward in putting the project up on its feet. I’m handing the reigns of running the read over to my co-producer and my director—after I make place cards for everyone, pick up copies of the script and buy a basket of muffins that is. Then I’m taking off my producer hat and putting on my actor hat. I hope to just relax and enjoy being one of the actors.
Until tomorrow, create from what you have….things to cut and things to get on their feet.
Love the hair cut! Have a fabulous table read. Can’t wait to read all about it.
Love, love, love the new hair! So excited about this project for you! Can’t wait to hear the progress and see the final film! Enjoy the table read…
