In The Trenches—The Founder’s Daily Report: Day 355: Time to get Zen!

Day 355:  I’ve made a decision.  It’s time to get Zen!  Right after I speak with the New Media Contract department at SAG to find out if we switch to that agreement whether or not we can go to film festivals and sell our film—a concern raised.  If we don’t go with the New Media Contract that brings me right back to where I was before:  over budget.  Deep sigh.

We brought on a wonderful young woman to do our wardrobe last night.  She just arrived in LA three months ago from Chicago and she’s making a go at becoming a costume designer.  I simply love it that we can give her this opportunity.  If I actually pull off making this film that is.

Uh-Mazing Romantic Partner comes home today!  Yippee!  I can’t even begin to tell you how much I need him right now.

Okay, that’s it.  Let me get this call out of the way so I can then disconnect from everything and everyone.  I’m disconnecting to slow down, breathe and connect with and find clarity around all of this.  Am I meant to make this film with this team at this time?  Either the world is going to end tomorrow or I’m going to end this film in this incarnation.  Or, I’m not.
