In The Trenches—The Founder’s Daily Report: Day 365: In Search of Momma

Day 365:  Our entire cast so far for my film project number one has come from my creative team’s pool of friends or friends of friends.  We haven’t gone through any agents and I haven’t had to put out a breakdown for any of the roles…yet.  There is one character, an African American woman in her 60’s who is the mother of one of my lead actresses, I have yet to find.  It’s not a big part but it’s a really lovely role, a nice cameo for an amazing actress.  I have a few leads and I’m calling a gal today to talk to her.  I hope she has an online picture and resume!  Fingers crossed.  If you have any suggestions for Momma, send them my way!
