In the Trenches—Day 13 Year 2: Refusing to panic!

Day 13 Year 2:  That’s right.  Regardless of the schedule change emails, the overages and the lack of organized props, I refuse to panic.  And here’s why.  Someone I love is in a lot of pain right now and we don’t know why.  All I can think about is how much it actually hurts me that they’re hurting.  And how important it is to me that they aren’t in pain anymore!

Two of the most important things in life are love and health.  The next two most important things are more love and more health.  Do you have love in your life?  (Love for your Self counts.)  Do you have your health?  Count yourself lucky.  I know I do.  I have both of those things and I’m in the middle of making one of my life long dreams come true.  I would give up the latter in a heart beat if it would mean saving someone I love from suffering.  It’s a really shitty reason to have perspective right now but I’m so thankful for it.  Otherwise, I’d be a basket case over budgets and shoes and call times and SAG paperwork.  Of course, I still have to get all of that stuff done because I’m making a movie, and it is important to me, it’s a dream, BUT, at the end of the day, I know what really, really, really matters.

It is my sincere wish that you have both love and health in your life.

Until tomorrow, create from what you have…perspective.
