Day 16 Year 2: At the end of day 2 of production…Happiness is accidentally opening the freezer when you meant to open the fridge and finding craft service’s stash of homemade chocolate chip cookies! I just inhaled like 10 of them. Not kidding.
Happiness is craft service’s secret stash of cookies!
Day 2 of production was fraught with crises. For starters, we were late from the get go because make-up took longer than we scheduled for. It was our first day shooting the specialty make-up and it took a long time to get my teeth ready. We had a massive wardrobe malfunction that wasn’t caught until after half of the scene was shot….in the wrong costume. The fire marshal showed up and told us our fire extinguisher wasn’t the right size. We didn’t get all of the scenes shot we were supposed to get shot and one of our SAG stars had a 12-hour day. Big GULP. Money, money, money, it’s a rich man’s game. I think I’ll have another cookie while I attempt to get that ABBA song out of my head and try and sleep a few hours before everyone is back at my house to do it all over again tomorrow.
