In the Trenches—Day 17 Year 2: The Power of 3

Day 17 Year 2:

The morning began with my co-producer losing her gas receipt for the production van.  Miraculously, our AD found it slipped into a crevice in the door.

Then, I got a tap on my shoulder asking me how to get into the Mojo once it was locked.  “Why?”  “Well, it’s running, all of the doors are locked and no one is in it!”  Miraculously, our creative DP, who owns his own motor home, had some tricks—namely, finding an unlocked side window, getting the smallest girl on the crew and heaving her through it far enough to unlock the side door.

And finally, our next-door neighbor’s 17-year old daughter backed into the production van.  Once again, a small miracle and there was no damage or issues.

Whew!

From there, we hit the ground running.  We knocked off all of the scenes for the day plus the two extra scenes we didn’t get in yesterday.  So, we are back on schedule!  Woo hoo!

3 crises diverted on day 3.  Praise the power of 3!

Until tomorrow, create from what you have…daily miracles.
