Creating 2015—Day 17:   A Hangover and a Goodbye

Right next to the MCR is a wine and cheese bar.  Last night, I spent way too much time in there and I pay for it today.  I haven’t had a hangover in a long time.  I forget what they are like.  They suck!  I had originally planned to go catch a matinee of the Tom Stoppard play “Indian Ink” at A.C.T. but aforementioned hangover has other plans.  Like making me feel wonky all damn day.

But, I have to rally.  Uh-mazing Romantic Partner has a big task this afternoon.  He’s announcing to his crew that he is leaving Bar Rescue.  Next week will be his last episode.  I am here for moral support.  This is hard.  He loves the show and his cast and crew.  To say goodbye will not be easy.  Emotions run high.  But he makes the announcement with grace and love.  It’s a beautiful moment.  Lots of tears.  This is a huge end for him after 70 episodes and three years.  So, I keep reminding him that with every ending there is a new beginning.  And luckily, 2015 is a year of new beginnings.  Let them begin!

Until tomorrow, create from what you have…endings and new beginnings.
