I finally slept eight straight hours without getting up to pee! Now, I realize for many people that might not be something to boast about but for me, well, it is. I’m a night pee-er. Usually at least once, half way through my slumber, I wake up in the middle of the night to go whiz. The main reason is because I’m also a night tea drinker. I’ve tried to break myself of this habit but I do love my cup o’ chamomile before bed. I also have a few vitamins I take with water right before bed. Thus, my peeing mid-way through sleepy time issues. It’s fuzzy in my brain now but I’m pretty sure I did NOT have my tea last night before bed, just took my vitamins. That explains it. Why am I so happy about not peeing in the middle of the night? Because I woke up nice and early. I woke up at dawn. Which is my favorite time of the day.
The definition of dawn is delicious. As a noun dawn means daybreak or beginning. As an intransitive verb it means begin, become apparent, start to exist. Hmmmm, let’s start to exist! Personally, I think of dawn as the time before the sunrise. The sun is on its way but it hasn’t made a full appearance yet. But you can start to see. It’s waking up the world with its light.
Oh, there it is. The full blown sunrise. Beautiful.
I feel awake. Alive. Rested. Ready to create a new day…and some clean clothes.
Until tomorrow, create from what you have…a new day.
