Creating 2015—Day 47:   50 Shades of Grey

Uhmmmm, what can I say?  We broke down and went with the masses to see 50 Shades of Grey today.  I’ve never read the books.  I had heard the movie was pretty awful so I had low expectations.  What I did expect was that it would be dark and sexy.  I can’t say I found it terribly sexy or that dark.  Instead, I found it long.  And just like with Magic Mike not having enough sexy dudes dancing, 50 Shades didn’t have enough kinky sexy time in it!  I liked Dakota Johnson.  And I didn’t mind the guy who played the dominant Grey.  That poor bastard is being eviscerated in reviews.  He wasn’t that bad!  Yes, he was a little flat in his performance but I thought he was cute and not horrible.  In a nutshell, it was way too long but I didn’t completely hate it.  It was just kinda cheesy romantic drama fare with a little bondage thrown in here and there.
