Creating 2015—Day 52: An “In CYnc” Lunch

I got to connect with my incredibly talented and always inspiring friend Cindy Yantis (AKA Screenwriter Cindy) for lunch this afternoon. With book deadlines, her film short On Georgia’s Mind making the rounds on the festival circuit, and many projects in development, she is on fire right now! And hard to get a meeting with these days!

Cindy is an amazing writer. And prolific! She has written multiple screenplays, novels, essays, and is now working as a ghostwriter on several books. She inspires me! And I love her new website’s brand: In CYnc—an unending flow of creativity. Brilliant. Just like she is.
We are making a big push on one of those aforementioned projects on her plate, The Botox Party, a super fun, female centric dark comedy. We are getting it ready for a potential producer contact to take a look at next week. I commissioned Cindy to write the script back on October 2, 2011—our official “signing” day. We haven’t been working on it non-stop if that’s what you’re wondering. We’re not that slow! We’ve had quite a few pauses in the development process over the last three years. But now we’re getting serious! It’s time to create some forward movement for this little gem and get it made.
