Creating 2015—Day 55:   What was I thinking?

With my 4pm Thai food for dinner yesterday, I mistakenly had a Thai iced tea as my beverage—one of my favs—but I paid for it last night when I could not for the life of me fall asleep!  What was I thinking?  A Thai iced tea is a deliciously sweet and creamy tea.  But it is usually made with black tea, which has caffeine in it.  I don’t do caffeine.  I don’t drink coffee or soda and I usually avoid it in my hot teas.  I am extremely sensitive to the lowest levels of caffeine.

Granted, I was wired after writing my post last night about The Member and Me, which was just a mere seven hours ago—hey, seven is a key number in that project…it’s another sign!—so that didn’t help my slumber attempts.  But, when it was almost 11pm and my eyes were still wide open, I knew I was in trouble because of the late day caffeine consumption.  Note to self—don’t do that!  Why am I up at 4:50am anyway?  Uh-mazing Romantic Partner flies back east today and I am his ride to the airport.  We have to leave at 5:30am.  I was barely asleep so I got right up at 4:30am when he did.  I’m not making the bed as I will be crawling back in it when I get home from the airport.  Although, I’m oddly wide awake right now.

Until tomorrow, create from what you have…sleepless nights.
