Creating 2015—Day 78:   Working For The Weekend

Oh, how I wish I could blink my eyes like Barbara Eden in I Dream of Jeanni and have Friday be over with!  Oy.  It’s going to be a long and grueling and stressful day.  To quote Lloyd Bridges in Airplane, “Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit drinking.”  Thank goodness for the weekend coming up!  I don’t know about you but I can’t wait for it.  In fact, I’m working for it!  Cue the Loverboy song.

But, in light of the sad news yesterday that Aunt Lou passed away, I am reminded to stop complaining and be thankful for all the amazing blessings in my life!  And even to be thankful for all of the opportunities I have to be strong and optimistic in the face of any challenge that comes my way.  So, there you have it.  Gratitude saves the day!
