Creating 2015—Day 79:   A Drama Queen & Carousel

I was totally wrong!  Today turned out to be painless.  It wasn’t grueling nor was it long.  Don’t get me wrong; I’m still super happy it is over!

But in retrospect, I realize I was very dramatic in my post last night. For one reason, I was exhausted.  Exhaustion always brings out my inner drama queen.  And, besides my fatigue, I truly thought today would be long and grueling.  We had a big meeting around accounting stuff for my documentary.  If you even mention the word “accounting” around me, the adjectives “grueling” and “long” immediately pop into my mind.

After my not so grueling or long morning meeting, Uh-Mazing Romantic Partner and I decided to celebrate with lunch somewhere we’d never eaten before.  A friend recommended Carousel, a Middle Eastern and Lebanese restaurant in Glendale.  It was delicious!  I did feel a bit like we were cheating on our local Middle Eastern eatery The Olive Branch.  But, the food was so yummy the guilt vanished with every bite.  We will definitely return.

And now, it is the weekend I’ve been working so hard to get to.  Nothing special planned just a whole lot of doing nothing.  Woo hoo!

Until tomorrow, create from what you have…being a good kind of wrong.
