Creating 2015—Day 101:   Social Media Saturday

I finally got an official Facebook page set up for my indie film Collusions! Don’t get me wrong.  I hate Facebook.  I only use my Facebook pages for my company, my actor and my films.  I have a personal account only because they make you have one in order to create pages.  I have no friends.  I created a Facebook page for Collusions right after we finished shooting back in 2013 but I did something wrong and Facebook literally shut me out of the account even though I created it.  🙁  I emailed them a million times but hit a wall every way I turned.  Logic did not dictate on their part.  I wasn’t happy. Yeah, probably why they bug me so much. But, everyone I know is on it so it is a functional layer of communication.

Next up I have to create a twitter page for the film.  I love Twitter!  I just created a boundary on it between me and my company though.  My company twitter handle is @FromWhatYouHave and my new personal twitter handle is @KelliJBennett.

And then I need to set up an instagram account for it.  I have no clue about instagram.  I had someone on Twitter ask me the other day if I was personally on instagram.  Nope.  I did create an instagram account for the documentary but I haven’t used it.  Don’t really know how yet!

Anyway, for those of you on Facebook, please go like the “official” Collusions’ page and stay tuned for updates on the project.  Here’s the link: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Collusions/975745952442823

Thank you!!!

Until tomorrow, create from what you have…social media to navigate.
