Creating 2015—Day 108:   “While We’re Young”

We did something today we rarely do anymore.  We went to the movies! We’re cleansing so we skipped the popcorn, soda and candy but it was great fun being in an actual movie theatre.  The movie theatre is where I used to live!  And I always got there early so I didn’t miss any of the previews.  I love previews.  But between our 60” flat screen TV and Netflix I never need to leave the house.  So it was a nice reminder just how delicious it is to enjoy a good movie on the big screen.

Fortunately, the film we decided to go see was actually good!  It was “While We’re Young” directed by Noah Baumbach starring Naomi Watts, Ben Stiller, Adam Driver and Amanda Seyfried.  I highly recommend it for anyone over the ago of 40, who spent eight years making a documentary and doesn’t have children.  I’m not kidding!  It was like Noah stole Tim and I’s life.  We laughed our asses off.  It kinda lost its mind in the last third but, all in all, it’s a very good, very funny, midlife crisis movie.

Until tomorrow, create from what you have…movies at the movie theatre.
