Creating 2015—Day 114: Cleanse Completion

I actually succeeded at something!  We started an 11 day cleanse and yesterday was the last day.  I made it!  Cue the trumpets, balloons and confetti.  Woo hoo!  It’s the little victories, right?

The cleanse was less about losing weight and more about taking back control of my health from the tyranny of my out of control hormones.  I am regrouping this morning and figuring out where I want to go next with my health.  The obvious answer is to keep going until I reach the coveted “optimal” state.  But it’s fascinating when you throw in the barrage of the aging process that is working against you.  What, exactly, is optimal now probably isn’t the same as it was a decade ago, or even five years ago.  It’s a mystery and a puzzle that has to be solved on a daily basis.

On a different note… I wrote a post last night about research and development and my new bi-monthly goal of creating new ideas to potentially develop further.  I was thinking about that concept of idea creation when I first woke up with morning.  It dawned on me I need to apply fresh, creative thinking and “thinking outside the box inside the box” to my goals for every project in every stage to shake things up, see things differently, come at it with a new perspective. Basically, get new ideas for the old shit I still need to do!

I have two films that are in the fine tune finishing stage and I need to find their audience and distribution channels.  How can creative thinking help me shake up not only my attitude around that process but also the ideas for how I go about making it happen?  Good question.  I’ll put on my R&D hat and get back to you.

Until tomorrow, create from what you have…tiny moments of success.
