Creating 2015—Day 129:   Graduation Weekend!

This weekend I have not one but two graduations in my family—from the same sister!  How she managed that, I’m not sure.  Pretty impressive timing!  Today is the college graduation of my niece and godchild (and our site’s College Desk contributor) Alexandra Joan Bennett. At 21 years old, she’s insanely smart, talented, gorgeous and about to start her first official job with her newly earned degree in economics next month.  I’m so crazy proud of this kid!

And tomorrow, we are celebrating both Alex’s college graduation and her brother and my nephew John Robert Pollard’s high school graduation.  He’ll be starting college this coming fall with a major in computer science. He’s wicked smart and funny and handsome and I’m crazy about him, not to mention wildly proud!

I’ve got two more nephews still left to graduate from high school and a niece and nephew still left to graduate from college.  These kids inspire and amaze me and I love them all more than words can describe!
