To “be ready” is to feel prepared and open and inspired and brave and confident and fearless and energized. To “not be ready” is to feel anxious and confused and scared and shaky and doubtful and insecure. “But I’m not ready,” we protest. Not ready to launch, to start, to stop, to share, to believe, to bring it, to love, to show up, to get out, to give in, to go, to write, to be nice, to donate, to eat healthy, to forgive and on and on and on. But it doesn’t matter whether you feel ready or not! It doesn’t matter whether you really are ready or not. Consciously or unconsciously, you are creating every second of every minute of every day of every month of every year of every decade of your life! You start creating a good night’s sleep hours before you crawl into bed. You start creating a healthy body with every choice of what goes in your mouth and every move you make. You start creating a healthy attitude with every thought you think. You start creating a potential piece of art by picking up a paintbrush or pen or camera and expressing yourself. You start making a difference by creating positive action.
Stop using “but I’m not ready” as an excuse.
Start consciously creating and you’ll start being ready.“There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting.” —Buddha
Start creating from what you have right now.
