Get your power walk on!
Day 235.
Something magical happens to me about halfway through my morning walk—I start thinking I can do anything! I don’t know if it’s the energy that’s created from the physical exercise or endorphins kicking in or a combo but I just love it. They are power walks in more way than one—I am walking powerfully and getting powerful as I walk. I’m so happy that my long walks are generating such joy, motivation and energy. I used to run to get the same feeling. I’m not going to lie, it was more intense halfway through a 12-mile run—I felt more like an Olympic god. But the halfway point of a 1-hour walk is still pretty freaking awesome—and much easier on my knees.
