Day 248: Disconnected and it felt so good!

Day 248.  I’m not sure how much I filled my creative well but I had a really lovely “day off.”  Mainly, I was just exhausted most of the day—couldn’t keep my eyes open kind of exhausted.  The lovely part was I just lounged on the couch and nodded off as the urge hit me.  There was a Yankees game, guacamole, the US Open, yummy cheese, a bad movie called The Big Year, sugar free, dairy free ice-cream and the first hour of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone consumed.  Uh-mazing Romantic Partner and I have never seen any of the Harry Potter movies nor read any of the books for that matter.  We thought maybe it was time to check out what all the hoopla was about.  We were falling asleep by the time Harry was supposed to have his first quidditch match as a seeker.

After a deep eight hours of sleep, I’m up and ready for the day.  I don’t feel the intense urgency I had prior to the day off.  Thank goodness.  I really needed to disconnect from everything for a bit and rest.  We’ll see if I’m ready to reconnect today.

Until tomorrow, create from what you have…disconnection.
