Day 259: That’s 3 and 1/2!

Day 259.  Nope.  I didn’t get the entire scene 4 done yesterday.  As I mentioned, it’s really three scenes in one.  What I did get done was the first introduction of the scene of this kid Mike.  And I love it!  I’m so happy with the cut.  So is Producing Partner.  We screened it at the end of the day.  Our excitement for the project is growing with each scene I re-edit and focus in.  The momentum seems to be building.  Fingers crossed.

I’m actually stepping away from the doc and the edit this weekend.  One, I need a break.  And two, I’ve just got so many other balls up in the air I need to tend to before they go crashing to the ground.

This morning I’ll be reading Screenwriter Monica’s rewrite.  Then this afternoon, I have a meeting for the Declare Your Dream Experimental Motivation Project Workshop.  I’m excited to move both of those projects forward.

Forward motion.  That’s the theme these days.   I can’t say how far I will move in that direction each day, but moving forward—an inch or a mile doesn’t matter—every day is the goal.
