Creating 2015—Day 53:   Oscar Fun!

 The best present my ex-husband ever gave me was a gold plated Oscar.  He had it made from the real Oscar mold and the whole nine.  No idea how he did it, I think it was a shady deal.  It’s as close to real as you can get.  It’s just missing the base.    It is the centerpiece for every Oscar party or watching I’ve had in the last 15 or so years.  My past guests have held it as they gave their mock Oscar acceptance speeches.  Lately, I haven’t had any Oscar parties.  It’s just Uh-mazing Romantic Partner and I practicing our faux winning speeches.  It’s fun.  It’s silly.  It’s been one of my favorite nights of the year since childhood.  My all time favorite host is Billy Crystal.  But I’m looking forward to Neil Patrick Harris hosting tonight.  I’m a big fan of his and I think he’ll knock it out of the park.
