Creating 2015—Day 104:   Can’t Sleep

All this social media activity has me wired!  It’s 1am and I’m still wide-awake.  Oy.  Oh wait, there was a yawn—the first hint of getting tired. Thank goodness!  I need to sleep.  Otherwise, I’ll ruin my entire day tomorrow…errr, well, today.  I also got wired from a call I had earlier.  I received a nice shot in the arm from my original Collusions director (she moved to New Jersey), the amazingly talented Brenda Collins Decesare.  I sent her my script for Death Over 3 Bottles of Wine a while ago to get her thoughts and she had finally found time to read it.  The timing was perfect for not only her complimentary comments about the screenplay—my day began with a film festival rejection notice—but it was also perfect timing for the creative discussion we had.  It really woke me up.  Got me excited about diving into the project again and making the movie.  But now I really need to sleep.  Wish me luck.
